  Fiber coupled THz time-domain spectrometer using 1060 nm laser excitation for transmission and reflection measurements  
 
 

The time-domain spectrometer consists of the following parts:

  • femtosecond fiber laser with 1060 nm wavelength
  • emitter antenna with THz lens PCA-40-05-10-1060-c-f
  • detector antenna with THz lens PCA-44-06-10-1060-c-f
  • delay line with 1 ns time delay
  • substrate holder with manual xy-movement of 50 mm
  • electronic components (pulse generator + lock-in detection)
  • Laptop with spectrometer software T3DS
The main parameters of the THz spectrometer are:
  • spectral range:           0.1 - 2.5 THz
  • spectral resolution:     2 GHz
  • S/N-ratio at 0.4 THz:  1000
  • minimum scan time:   0.5 s
  • THz beam diameter:   12 mm
